Description
Allergy to this drug is rare and can manifest as skin rash, itching around the injection site, rhinitis, and in severe cases, as Quincke's edema and anaphylactic shock. The determination of specific immunoglobulin E to this allergen in increased amounts indicates the presence of sensitization of the organism to this allergen. The study is conducted only for type 1 allergic reactions. A negative test result cannot guarantee the absence of another type of allergic reaction.
