Description
Quantitative determination of specific antibodies, class E immunoglobulins, in the blood, appearing in the presence of an allergic reaction to the house dust mite Dermatophagoides farinae. This analysis is used: for the diagnosis of allergic diseases (bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, respiratory allergosis); to assess the risk of developing allergic reactions to the house dust mite Dermatophagoides farinae. This analysis is prescribed: in the presence of the following symptoms indicating an allergic character: redness and burning of the eye mucosa, lacrimation and eyelid edema, nasal congestion, sneezing, coughing, shortness of breath, bronchospasm, etc.; in continuously relapsing course of respiratory diseases without remission periods; with a polyvalent nature of sensitization, when it is not possible to conduct in vivo testing with suspected allergens; with a false positive or false negative skin testing result; to children if their parents suffer from allergic diseases, including those manifesting upon contact with house dust (house dust mites Dermatophagoides farinae).
