Description
The main cat allergen secreted with saliva, and in male cats, this allergen is found in urine. The severity of the allergic reaction of patients to this allergen can vary significantly depending on different cat breeds, but removing the cat from the allergic person's apartment is a mandatory condition for reducing the sensitization of the organism. However, it should be taken into account that even after removing the cat from the apartment, the allergen level remains quite high for at least 6 months. Determination of the IgG level to this allergen is used to control the conducted therapy and assess the reduction in the level of the organism's sensitization, as well as to assess the tension of immunity in the examined individuals.
