Description
Soybeans belong to a group of food products with a high content of a biologically active substance (mediator), which enhances the body's allergic reaction if there is already sensitization to soybean allergens. Allergy can manifest as diseases of the digestive system (allergic stomatitis, cheilitis, gastritis, colitis, gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome), skin (atopic dermatitis, urticaria, Quincke's edema), and less commonly, respiratory organs (allergic rhinitis, asthma). In cases of severe sensitization, anaphylactic shock is possible. In children, the allergic reaction often manifests as diathesis.
