Description
Cashew nut is a very strong allergen, even stronger than peanuts. Severe manifestations of allergy such as a severe bronchial asthma attack and a drop in arterial pressure (anaphylactic shock) occur much more frequently with sensitization to cashew nuts than with sensitization to peanuts.
