Description
Pineapple, as an etiological factor of food allergy, is classified as having a moderate degree of allergic activity (without taking individual characteristics into account). Manifestations of allergy can be digestive system disorders (cheilitis, gastritis, colitis, gastroenteritis), skin manifestations (atopic dermatitis, urticaria, Quincke's edema), while respiratory system disorders (allergic rhinitis, asthma) are rare.
