Description
Cucumber as an etiological factor for food allergy is classified as having a low degree of allergenic activity (without taking individual characteristics into account). Manifestations of the allergy may include digestive system dysfunction (cheilitis, gastritis, colitis, gastroenteritis, irritable bowel syndrome); skin manifestations (atopic dermatitis, urticaria, angioedema) and respiratory system dysfunction (allergic rhinitis, asthma) are rare.
