Description
Mint causes the slow development of food intolerance symptoms (no earlier than 3-5 days after consumption).
This test is used to diagnose food intolerance to mint. Food intolerance occurs more frequently than food allergy and proceeds as an allergic reaction involving specific immunoglobulin G (IgG-mediated). This leads to the development of hidden food allergy – a delayed-type allergy, which is more dangerous because external clinical manifestations of the disease develop slowly (up to several days), and quite often, they may be absent altogether for a long time. Slowly progressing pathological processes in the body's organs and tissues can often lead to chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory and nervous systems, skin, and can also have a negative impact on the mental sphere (depression, hyperactivity in children).
