Description
Allergy to chicken meat is less common than to other products of animal origin (milk, fish, egg). As chicken embryos are used for the manufacture of a number of vaccines – against influenza, yellow fever, tick-borne encephalitis – the development of allergic reactions is possible in patients with food allergy to chicken protein during preventive vaccinations with vaccines containing impurities of chicken embryo tissues.
