Description
Parsley is classified as a hypoallergenic food, but its consumption can sometimes cause allergic reactions, which may manifest as a rash, edema, stomach discomfort, asthma, and eczema. Cross-allergy to tree pollen is quite often observed. Detection of elevated levels of specific immunoglobulin E to this allergen indicates an acute allergic reaction (immediate hypersensitivity).
