Description
Mustard causes the rapid development of symptoms of food intolerance (already 1-3 days after eating it). Symptoms are especially pronounced in adults, while in children, a slow and latent course of food intolerance to this product is most often observed.
This test is used to diagnose food intolerance to mustard. Food intolerance occurs more frequently than food allergy and proceeds as an allergic reaction involving specific immunoglobulins G (IgG-mediated). In this case, a hidden food allergy (delayed-type allergy) develops, which is more dangerous because external clinical manifestations of the disease will develop slowly (up to several days), and often, there may be none at all for a long time. Slowly progressing pathological processes in the body's organs and tissues can often lead to chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, respiratory, nervous systems, and skin, and can also have a negative impact on the mental sphere (depression, hyperactivity in children).
