Description
Analysis for the determination of specific immunoglobulins E in the blood to chromium - a metal often used in dentistry as well as orthopedics. The analysis is capable of detecting only the active form of allergy, when the body has already encountered chromium and has a pool of produced IgE. Thus, a negative test result is not a guarantee that an allergic reaction to this metal will not develop. The study is conducted only for type 1 allergic reactions. A negative test result cannot guarantee the absence of an allergic reaction of another type.
