Description
Analysis for the determination of specific immunoglobulins E to copper in blood – a metal that is sometimes part of dental materials and can also act as an occupational allergen for workers in certain enterprises. The analysis is able to detect only the active form of allergy, when the body has already encountered copper and has a pool of produced IgE. Thus, a negative result of the study is not a guarantee that an allergic reaction to this metal cannot develop. The study is conducted only for type 1 allergic reactions. A negative test result cannot guarantee the absence of another type of allergic reaction.
