Description
Analysis for the determination of specific immunoglobulins E in the blood to palladium – a metal that may be part of dental materials, and can also act as an occupational allergen for workers in certain enterprises. The analysis is able to detect only the active form of allergy, when the body has already encountered palladium and has a pool of produced IgE. Thus, a negative test result is not a guarantee that an allergic reaction to this metal will not develop. The study is conducted only for type 1 allergic reactions. A negative test result cannot guarantee the absence of an allergic reaction of another type.
