Description
Allergy to silk is a rather rare phenomenon. Silk, in turn, can aggravate cold allergy. Allergy to silk usually manifests as eczema, atopic dermatitis. The determination of specific immunoglobulin E to this allergen in increased amounts indicates the presence of sensitization of the organism to this allergen.
