Description
Anisakis Larvae is a helminth of the nematode class, parasitizing in the intestine of humans and animals, and is the cause of the development of such a disease as anisakiasis. Allergens of this parasite are products of its vital activity, as well as its larvae. Allergic reactions in anisakiasis can manifest as skin itching (especially in the nose area), atopic dermatitis, urticaria, Quincke's edema, respiratory allergoses, bronchial asthma. IgG class antibodies begin to be synthesized on the 2-3 week of the disease, their maximum concentration becomes by the 2-3 month after infection and can remain at this level for over 1 year. Determination of specific immunoglobulin G is used for the diagnosis of delayed allergic reactions, as well as for monitoring the therapy carried out.
