Allergen t77 - Oak mix, IgE

Description

Pollen allergy is the most common type of allergy, which usually has a seasonal character and is timed to the flowering periods of plants to whose pollen there is sensitization. The onset of allergy is directly related to the blooming of oak forests (end of April – end of May). Cases of cross-allergic reaction to the pollen of birch, beech, alder, hazel, and some food allergens (apples, pears, peaches, cherries, kiwi, hazelnuts, and walnuts) are quite common. Allergy manifests as profuse lacrimation, nasal discharge; less often as skin manifestations; in severe cases, attacks of suffocation, urticaria, Quincke's edema, seasonal pollen dermatitis with severe itching and various rashes. The detection of specific immunoglobulin E to this allergen in increased amounts indicates the presence of sensitization of the organism to this allergen.
