ALEX is a multicomponent allergen test (in vitro) that allows determining the levels of total IgE and specific IgE to the majority of the most important allergen extracts and molecular components simultaneously. This is a multicomponent test that allows simultaneously determining the level of antibodies to allergenic molecules and allergen extracts in the blood and obtaining an almost complete picture of sensitization in a person. The test is developed based on unique nanotechnology and equipped with flexible software, which allows analyzing individual allergen panels in accordance with clinical needs.
It belongs to a new generation of tests in the diagnosis (in vitro) of type 1 allergic reactions. Thanks to a panel of 295 allergen extracts and allergenic molecules, including the level of total IgE, it covers more than 99% of all standard diagnostic tests. The patented technology is designed for simultaneous testing of hundreds of allergens and guarantees the accuracy of each indicator.
The analysis result is not affected by the intake of antihistamines, hormonal drugs, antileukotriene drugs, topical steroids, and other medications.
