Description
Quantitative determination of specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) antibodies to the major birch pollen allergen, rBet v1 (PR-10 protein) in blood, the detection of which allows for the diagnosis of true birch pollen allergy, assessment of cross-reactivity with allergens from other plants and food products, and prediction of the efficacy of allergen-specific immunotherapy.
