Description
A study of the concentration of major saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids, used to assess their balance in the body, as well as for the diagnosis, prognosis assessment, and treatment of dyslipidemias, ischemic heart disease, and certain oncological diseases.
This study is used for:
• assessing the balance of major saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids in the body;
• diagnosis, prognosis assessment, and treatment of dyslipidemias, ischemic heart disease, and certain oncological diseases (bowel, pancreatic, prostate, and breast cancer).
This analysis may be prescribed:
• when assessing the nutritional status of a patient;
• when examining a patient with dyslipidemia, ischemic heart disease, as well as certain oncological diseases (adenocarcinoma of the colon, pancreas, prostate, and breast).
Period of execution
Within 5 days. The specified time does not include the day of biomaterial collection
