Description
One of the most sensitive tests used to detect Helicobacter pylori infection. IgA appears in the blood in diagnostically significant titers under conditions of massive infection of the gastric mucosa with Helicobacter pylori. For these reasons, the analysis results can be indicative not only regarding the fact of the pathogen's presence in the gastrointestinal tract but also for an approximate assessment of mucosal colonization.
