Description
Antibodies of this class are produced 15-20 days after infection. Their concentration in the blood remains at a high level throughout the disease and for a reasonably long time after recovery, however, they do not provide stable immunity to the pathogen. The analysis results allow assessing the presence of an acute infectious process, concluding about a past disease, and also diagnosing a relapse of a chronic form of infection.
