Description
IgG antibodies to Mycoplasma hominis indicate past or current infection. They appear at least 14-20 days after infection, following class M immunoglobulins, and persist for a long time. A positive test result for IgG antibodies serves as a marker of infection; the level of these antibodies depends on the severity of the pathological process in the mucous membrane and the quantity of microorganisms.
