Description
Aspergillosis is a fungal disease that most often affects the respiratory system and occurs against the background of congenital or acquired immunodeficiency upon inhalation of fungal spores. Aspergillus can also affect mucous membranes, skin, and eyes. A generalized (septic) form of the disease is also distinguished. IgG is detected in the blood serum of the absolute majority of patients with aspergillosis. In case of ambiguous results, it is recommended to repeat the study over time.
