Description
Anti-centromere antibodies (anti-CENP-B, anti-CENT-B) are detected in patients with scleroderma, systemic lupus erythematosus, and rheumatoid arthritis. In patients with systemic scleroderma, the detection of these antibodies indicates a favorable prognosis and a low probability of internal organ involvement.
