Description
The marker is associated with changes in lipoprotein metabolism. It is investigated to detect genetic predisposition to myocardial infarction, hypercholesterolemia, hyperlipoproteinemia (HLP) type 3, Alzheimer's disease, memory impairment in the elderly, multiple sclerosis, and dementia.
