Description
Laboratory examination to assess the balance between different types of estrogens. Disruption of the normal hormonal balance creates conditions for the development of pathological processes in a woman's body and can be a risk factor for the development of diseases of the reproductive system. The results of the examination will allow assessing the process of detoxification of steroid hormones in the body as a whole, identify possible risks of pathologies of estrogen-dependent organs (mammary gland, uterus, thyroid gland), and assess the risks when taking contraceptives and hormone replacement therapy (HRT).
The examination is recommended:
in case of high risk of developing estrogen-dependent neoplasms (myoma, polyps, breast cancer) or their presence;
in endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome;
in ovarian dysfunction, menstrual cycle disorders, painful menstruation, premenstrual syndrome (PMS);
in infertility, miscarriage (spontaneous abortion, missed abortion);
in fatty liver dystrophy;
when taking contraceptives and antiestrogens (tamoxifen and its analogues: "Novofen", "Nolvadex");
with weight gain, cellulite;
in headaches, "brain fog", insomnia, depression, anxiety, mood swings, chronic stress.
