Description
Granulomatous vasculitis (Churg-Strauss syndrome, allergic eosinophilic granulomatous angiitis) is a disease of autoimmune-allergic nature, in which mainly small and medium vessels are affected, and inflammatory-allergic changes resembling bronchial asthma develop in the respiratory tract. The antibodies detected in this study are most often found in the above-described disease. The examination is used for its diagnosis, monitoring of therapy, and prediction of relapses.
The examination includes:
Antinuclear factor on HEp-2 cells
Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies, IgG
