Description
Everolimus is a drug belonging to the group of proliferation signal inhibitors (mTOR inhibitors). It is an immunosuppressant and suppresses the activation of the T-cell arm of the immune system. It is used to prevent rejection of transplanted organs after heart and kidney transplantation, as well as for the treatment of certain oncological diseases.
