Description
Investigation of vaginal bacterial microflora in women of reproductive age. The amount of DNA of microorganisms constituting the microflora is evaluated: lactobacilli, Candida genus fungi, conditionally pathogenic microorganisms (Bacteria, Gardnerella vaginalis, Atopobium vaginae, Enterobacteriaceae, Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Ureaplasma parvum, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Mycoplasma hominis). Based on the study results, a conclusion regarding the presence/absence of bacterial vaginosis is issued.
The test is not suitable for women in menopause, as the interpretation of reference values is based on the ratio of microorganisms characteristic of women of reproductive age.
Determined parameters:
DNA Lactobacillus spp.
DNA Gardnerella vaginalis
DNA Atopobium vaginae
