Description
The study allows identifying the DNA concentration of Ureaplasma parvum, Ureaplasma urealyticum, and Mycoplasma hominis in biological material. These species are conditionally pathogenic microorganisms (CPM), present in the microflora of 50-75% of the adult population; however, with reduced immunity or co-infection, they actively multiply, leading to the development of dysbiosis and subsequently an inflammatory process. Ureaplasmas and mycoplasmas possess low immunogenicity, which makes the detection of specific antibodies to them in blood serum difficult; therefore, the detection of genetic material (DNA) of mycoplasmas is the most sensitive diagnostic method. The study is conducted only for women of reproductive age.
* The quantity of conditionally pathogenic microorganisms is reported in case of a "detected" result.
