Description
The presence of microsatellite instability (MSI) is a predictor of response to anti-PD-1 antibody immunotherapy in patients with metastatic malignant neoplasms, particularly colorectal cancer and gastric cancer. Also, the presence of MSI is a predictor of the ineffectiveness of adjuvant chemotherapy with fluoropyrimidines in patients with stage II colorectal cancer.
