Examination of synovial fluid with a description of its physicochemical properties and characterization of cellular elements, performed to diagnose various inflammatory joint diseases and dystrophic processes.
• Performed only in the presence of a prepared microslide on a glass slide and a tissue sample in a paraffin block.
• Any immunohistochemical study requires a preliminary assessment of the histological picture by a pathologist, for which a routine histological examination of the material is first performed. The obtained data allow selecting the necessary IHC method, types of antibodies used, and formulating the final histological diagnosis.
• Performed only if a diagnosis with ICD-10 code C*** is established by histology. In other cases, a consultation (12-065 "Consultation of biopsy (surgical) material of any complexity group (on prepared material, 1 slide)") may be proposed before performing IHC.
