Immunohistochemical examination of clinical material (using 9 antibodies)

Examination of tissue cells, which is carried out using special reagents.

It is performed only if there is a ready micropreparation on a glass slide and a tissue sample in a paraffin block, as well as a histological conclusion for them.
To conduct any immunohistochemical examination (IHC), a preliminary assessment of the histological picture by a pathologist is required, for which a routine histological examination of the material is performed first. The data obtained allow selecting the necessary IHC methodology, types of antibodies used, and formulating the final histological diagnosis. (Preliminary examination 12-065 "Consultation of biopsy (surgical) material of any complexity group (based on ready material, 1 slide)" is not required if this is an additional order to histology already performed at Helix, as a result of which IHC is recommended).
