Description
The marker is associated with changes in the efficiency of plasminogen activation. It is investigated to detect genetic predisposition to myocardial infarction, coronary heart disease, preeclampsia, atherosclerosis, weight gain, and obesity. It has prognostic significance in meningococcal infection. OMIM: 173360.
