Description
Investigation of the large intestine microbiota composition in children aged 0-14. A new technology for diagnosing the composition of the large intestine microbiota, developed by the "DNA-Technology" company in collaboration with expert doctors. The "Enteroflor® Children" study is intended for the determination of DNA of gut-associated microorganisms (phyla Bacillota (Firmicutes), Pseudomonadota (Proteobacteria), Bacteroidota (Bacteroidetes), Actinomycetota (Actinobacteria), Fusobacteriota (Fusobacteria), Verrucomicrobiota (Verrucomicrobia), Euryarchaeota), including fungi of the genus Candida, as well as the methicillin resistance gene of Staphylococcus spp. (mecA), Cl. difficile with enterotoxin A and B genes (tcdA, tcdB), Str. agalactiae with invasiveness gene (srr2) by real-time PCR in DNA preparations obtained from fecal samples of children, to assess the composition of the large intestine microbiota. The study is recommended when it is necessary to determine the qualitative composition and quantitative assessment of the large intestine microbiota during therapeutic and diagnostic measures.
