A detailed study of the qualitative and quantitative composition of blood, characterizing erythrocytes and their specific indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC, RDW), leukocytes and their varieties in percentage terms (leukocyte formula), and platelets.
Microscopic examination of the leukocyte formula is always performed in this study.
