Description
A study allowing the determination of basic indicators of the blood coagulation system. The study of prothrombin by the Quick method reflects its activity as a percentage of the reference activity in normal plasma solutions. INR (International Normalized Ratio) is a unified indicator calculated based on the value of prothrombin time and the international sensitivity index of thromboplastin. The International Normalized Ratio is recommended by the World Health Organization as a reference test for dose selection and assessment of the effectiveness of anticoagulant therapy. Fibrinogen is one of the components of the blood coagulation system (coagulation factor I). It is a glycoprotein - a fibrin monomer. It is synthesized in the liver. After activation due to the action of thrombin and conversion into fibrin, it precipitates, forming a blood clot together with other components. The level of fibrinogen in the blood has diagnostic value in the pathology of the blood coagulation system, inflammatory processes, liver pathology, pregnancy monitoring, and diseases of the cardiovascular system.
