Description
Von Willebrand disease is one of the most common disorders associated with decreased blood coagulation. The test is used for comprehensive diagnosis of von Willebrand disease and its subtypes and includes assessment of von Willebrand factor antigen level (vWF:Ag), ristocetin cofactor activity of von Willebrand factor (vWF:RCo), collagen-binding activity of von Willebrand factor (vWF:CBA), and the vWF:RCo/Ag and vWF:CBA/Ag ratios.
