Description
The presence of HER2 gene amplification is a predictor of response to anti-HER2 antibody therapy in patients with breast cancer. Determination of gene copy numbers for ESR1, CDH1, TOP2A, EGFR, FGFR1, MTDH, MYC, CCND1, EMSY, BIRC5, CCNE1, and chromosomes 8p12-p11 and 20q13.2 is recommended for breast cancer patients to personalize treatment tactics.
