Quantitative determination of specific IgE antibodies in blood to major peach allergens – rPru p1 PR-10, rPru p3 LTP, and rPru p4 Profilin – which allows for the diagnosis of sensitization to peach and other fruits of the Rosaceae family, assessment of the potential for cross-reactivity with other sources of plant allergens, and the potential risk of developing severe allergic reactions.
