Description
Determination of ALK gene rearrangement in lung cancer by IHC method is an examination of histological preparations of lung cancer biopsy material, conducted using antibodies labeled with fluorescent substances, which allows detecting the presence of the expression product of a mutated gene responsible for malignant transformation in tumor cells.
It is prescribed only in the presence of a prepared histological slide and a histological conclusion.
