Assessment of the effect of CYP2D6 and CYP2C19 on the metabolism of serotonin/norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor antidepressants (escitalopram, citalopram, sertraline, fluvoxamine, paroxetine, venlafaxine)

The test is used to predict the efficacy and safety of therapy with antidepressants from the group of selective serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors. CYP2D6 and CYP2C19 genotyping allows predicting with a high degree of probability which antidepressants will be effective and will not cause significant side effects, and which drugs should be avoided.
