Description
The study is used to diagnose various forms of infections caused by Group A beta-hemolytic streptococcus. For verification of the pathogen in lesions of the upper respiratory tract sections, an oropharyngeal swab is the best biomaterial for testing. Sputum is used to detect the pathogen in cases of bronchitis and pneumonia. The method has high sensitivity and specificity; the analysis results do not depend on the state of the immune system.
