Description
The comprehensive examination contains a mandatory set of tests to assess a woman's health status when planning pregnancy. The list of tests includes 4 mandatory analyses for registration and immediately before childbirth. In case of a positive result for any of these tests, a consultation with a gynecologist is necessary. In addition, tests for TORCH infections, a group of infections dangerous for fetal development, are included in the comprehensive examination. The abbreviation TORCH is formed from the initial letters of English words denoting infections: T - Toxoplasmosis, O - Others, R - Rubella, C - Cytomegalovirus, H - Herpes Simplex Virus. Determination of blood group and Rh factor must be performed at least once at the beginning of pregnancy. It is necessary to undergo laboratory examination 2-3 months before pregnancy. In addition to the Comprehensive Examination "Pregnancy Planning - Mandatory Tests", before the onset of pregnancy, it will be necessary to take tests combined into other complexes: "Pregnancy Planning - Necessary Tests". The complexes "Pregnancy Planning - Hormonal Tests" and "Pregnancy Planning - Partners' Health" are not mandatory.
