Description
Microbiological examination allowing detection of opportunistic microorganisms in the examined biomaterial (stool), capable of causing acute intestinal infections in young children, in adults with reduced immune status, as well as in case of disturbance of the normal intestinal flora ratio (intestinal dysbiosis). The analysis is used to confirm the diagnosis of acute intestinal infections, as well as to identify an increased amount of opportunistic microorganisms in the intestine of clinically healthy persons.
Stool must be submitted only in a special container with a nutrient medium, acquired in advance at the Center. A standard container bought at a pharmacy is not suitable.
* The set of antibiotics depends on the isolated microorganism and the commercial test system, which is currently provided by the manufacturer according to modern recommendations / available for procurement in the given region.
