Description
A microbiological test aimed at isolating the pathogen and determining its sensitivity to antibiotics to select optimal therapy for periodontitis. If pathogenic and/or opportunistic microorganisms are detected, their sensitivity to antimicrobial drugs (antibiotics) will be determined. Selection of antibiotics for normal flora may be performed at titers above 10*4; in this case, the administration of antibiotics and the advisability of treatment are determined by the physician.
* The set of antibiotics depends on the isolated microorganism and the commercial test system currently provided by the manufacturer according to modern recommendations / available for purchase in the specific region.
