Predisposition to colorectal cancer

Description

Colorectal cancer (rectal cancer) is one of the most common types of malignant tumors, characterized by the presence of a pronounced hereditary predisposition and a favorable prognosis with timely detection. The analysis involves examining the state of the genetic marker LOC727677, which has been shown to be associated with an increased risk of developing colorectal cancer. This test identifies general predisposition and is not associated with the diagnosis of rare forms of early familial rectal cancer associated with the MSH2 and MLH1 genes.

The test results are issued with an interpretation by a geneticist.
