Description
PROTIA Allergy-Q is a screening panel for allergy diagnosis (Proteome-Tech Inc., Korea) for serum allergen-specific IgE (sIgE). A quantitative method for specific IgE determination is used to detect clinically significant allergens using a high-tech immunoblotting technique. The study is intended for the determination of specific IgE antibodies to major food and respiratory allergens in blood serum. This is a modern, accurate, comprehensive method of allergy diagnosis. The Allergy-Q system has good diagnostic characteristics for the most common allergens. The PROTIA Allergy-Q panel uses a newer parallel membrane placement technique, which allows evaluating a greater variety of allergens in a single test compared to other systems using only one membrane. The amount of allergen-specific IgE antibodies to each allergen on the panel is determined, and the allergenicity class is also determined.
Extended study for the most common allergens (food, respiratory, epidermal, household, fungal).
