Description
Rheumatoid factor (RF) consists of antibodies of various classes (IgA, IgM, and IgG) that react with the Fc fragment of IgG immunoglobulins. They indicate an autoimmune process in the body and are characteristic of rheumatoid arthritis (detected in 60–80% of cases).
